DESCRIPTION:The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR for short) is an incredible motorcycling event that brings riders of all and kinds together to raise money and increase awareness for men’s health issues. Now that we sell Triumph Motorcycles at our Tacoma (Fife)\, WA location\, we can officially get involved with this super excellent event. \nWe’re SO pleased to announce that a DGR ride will be starting from our shop on Sunday May 21st at 9am. Route is still under wraps for now but it’s gonna be a good one and we’re looking forward to riding around with a whole gaggle of impressively dressed guys and gals. \nA number of our staff will be all geared up in ‘vintage’ attire and will be onsite to support and participate in the ride. SUMMARY:Luca's 2023 Ride to Cambria - Concord\, CA
DESCRIPTION:Basic Itinerary: \nFRIDAY MAY 19th \nThe route on Friday will take us past Mt Diablo on Marsh Creek Road and then into the hills above San Jose on Calaveras road.  A brief stint on the 101 will be followed by the Airline Highway (25) past the Pinnacles. Then we’ll head west on 198 into the Lake San Antonio/Lake Nascimento area before we wind our way into Paso Robles. From there\, we’ll hop onto 46 west for the last dash into Cambria.  Total mileage will be about 290. \nMeet at SoSo Cycles Concord at 9:00am \nDepart SoSo Cycles Concord at 9:30am \nRide to lunch\, then on to Cambria \nCheck in at Castle Inn at Cambria \nDinner at Moonstone Bar and Grill \n  \nSATURDAY MAY 20th \nWe’ll depart the hotel around 8 and ride south on the 101 To Morro Bay for breakfast. Then out to San Luis Obispo before we jump on Highway 58 past Soda Lake out to Buttonwillow. At Buttonwillow\, we’ll gas up and head back\, taking a detour (hard packed dirt\, or paved) to Soda Lake. From there we’ll head back across 58 and up to Paso Robles for a late lunch. After that we’ll head back to the coast and take a spin up the 1 as far as we can before heading back to the hotel. \nMeet for ride to breakfast at Morro Bay at 8:00am \nRide to lunch in Paso Robles \nBack to hotel in Cambria \nDinner at TBD \n  \nSUNDAY May 21st \nSunday there is no guided ride to find your way home. However\, a group of us will be heading back through the Lake Nascimento hills and taking Carmel Valley Road to grab lunch in Monterey before heading home. \nBreakfast at Moonstone Bar and Grill \nRide home at your leisure. \n  \nContact Luca at luca.r@sosocycles.com or call him at (925) 954-4084 to learn more and/or sign-up. \nAll participants are responsible for paying for their own fuel\, food and lodging but there will be no additional cost for this event. We’ll have a couple of our bikes there and will be offering track demo’s for those that are willing and able to take responsibility for the bikes while they’re out on track. We love letting riders test some of the greatest bikes money can buy on the race track but it must be understood that riders are 100% responsible for the bikes while in their possession.
