DESCRIPTION:Sunday July 30th and Monday July 31st DUCATI REVS is back in the PNW for the 2023 riding season! SoSo Cycles’ online shop is your source for tickets to this special 2-day event at The Ridge in Shelton\, WA.  Ducati North America will be bringing a 5th wheel trailer with some fun stuff and demonstrator bikes for participants to test on the track. \nThe event will be facilitated by a well-known riding school so you can count on a professional experience and expert support throughout. Tickets include two days on track at The Ridge and a catered lunch both days. All participants must complete a Registration Form and a Liability Release before they can head out on track. Riders should select A – Expert\, B – Intermediate or C – Novice group when signing up so we can maintain proper group sizes and spacing on track at all times. \nParticipants will be responsible for their own lodging and meals other than lunch. (7/3/23)\n\nEven though this is a Ducati Revs event the decision has been made to be inclusive and welcoming so all makes and model motorcycle will be allowed on track (all bikes will be subject to technical inspection and approval before heading out on the course).\n\nWe can now confirm that YCS (Yamaha Champion Riding School) will be providing classroom instruction and special Ducati-branded workbooks for all participants. Industry experts and renowned track experts Nick Ienatsch and Chris Peris will be on hand to assist with classroom instruction and (fingers crossed) may get out there to ride some laps too.\n\nDucati will lead a track walk to help attendees better understand The Ridge and the technical aspects of getting around the track more quickly.\n\nOn-track instruction will be provided by staff from SoSo Cycles and MotoCorsa (our friends and Ducati dealer brethren from PDX). DESCRIPTION:We like motorcycle movies but we rarely\, if ever\, get to see them on the big screen. We don’t have the A/V setups of modern multiplexes but we’ve got some gear to make it a bit more fun to watch moto movies. Plus it’s just better to watch motorcycle movies with other riders. \nSo we’re gonna setup a big screen\, pop some popcorn and invite all of you to join us for an evening viewing of: THE UNRIDEABLES. If you’ve never seen this film but are a fan of road racing\, you’re in for a treat. As summarized on the world wide web. \nThe 1980s were a high point of factory involvement in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Suzuki\, Honda and Yamaha battled for technological dominance in the high-powered world of 500cc two-stroke racers – and to ride these beasts they employed the very best riders in the world. The likes of Rainey\, Schwantz\, Lawson and Mamola struggled to tame the raw power and brutal handling of bikes built without constraints and without any of the modern rider aids which make today’s MotoGP four-stroke machines seem bland in comparison. The riders might have been paid handsomely for their efforts but\, as this film shows\, they paid a heavy price for their fame and stardom. With loads of great action shots from the archives and revealing\, frank interviews with many of the top riders this incredible documentary looks at the men who had to ride the unrideables. \nWe’ll have the shop open late and the movie will start at 7:00pm. Then we’ll kick everyone out around 9pm. Should be a fun evening!

DESCRIPTION:We’re going hard into the Triumph Motorcycle world and hosting the Triumph demo rig on Saturday June 17th from 9am – 6pm. We’ll be offering demo rides on a WHOLE bunch of new Triumph motorcycles on a first come\, first served basis so plan to get here early if there’s a particular model you want to experience. \nIn addition to a whole bench of demo ride opportunities\, we’ll also be grilling up some lunch grub and offering some in-store\, one-day specials to those that swing by. It’s gonna be a good day to be as SoSo Tacoma! \nAll demo ride participants must have a valid motorcycle license and their riding gear including a DOT-approved helmet\, gloves\, boots\, jacket and pants. If you don’t have all that gear\, we can help with that! Also\, all demo ride participants must complete a Borrowed Vehicle Agreement and take responsibility for the motorcycle while it’s in their possession. It doesn’t happen often but we want to be very upfront about the demo ride deal. If you bin it\, you buy it… Or at least the damaged bits and labor to replace them. \nOkay enough of the disclaimer stuff.
